The
research behind the genealogical records presented here on the
descendants of Nicholas
and Fenka Herrmann, Simon and Wilhemina Dingerson, Amanuel and Nancy
Edwards,
and John and Frances Painter was begun by Barbara Herrman Wentz in the
late
1960s and
early 1970s. Her son Lee Wentz finished compiling this information in
the early
1980s.
Gene
Gould and Deborah Krug began collecting further information on the
Herrmann, Burjes, and Heiens families in the early 1990s,
incorporating
the records that had been gathered by Barbara on the Herrmann family.
Deborah produced a book
in 2000
that included all of the information on these families that
had been gathered up to that time.
Charles
Waldrop Jr, David Waldrop, Cheryl Gertz Washington, and Cindy
Gertz have gathered details on the descendants of Laura Edwards
Waldrop. They were provided by Cindy.
Mike
Sluder has provided information on Demeris Addie (Macy) Edwards Sluder
and her descendants, while Phyllis Martin has provided further
information on Louellan (Lou) Edwards Martin and her descendants.
In
2004
John Herrman computerized the available information on the descendants
of all
four families, which is now available at www.EdwardsHerrman.net.
